Thomas Mendonça (1991, France), artist graduated from ESAD.Cr, works and lives in Lisbon. Among the exhibitions in which he has participated, “Poríferos Preciosos” (Geological Museum and National Museum of Natural History and Science) and “Gender in Art: Body, sexuality, identity, resistance” (National Museum of Contemporary Art of Chiado) stand out. Among his curatorial projects we highlight the cycle “4 MONTHS 400 YEARS” (Primeiros Sintomas), the exhibitions “PAU DURO CORAÇÃO MOLE”, “O Vírus” and “Sem medo de criar o caos” (Galeria FOCO). His main interests are distributed between sentimental melodramas, post-pop culture and the beauty of iconic singularity in general.
