Galeria Foco is pleased to present “Within these lines I operate” a solo exhibition by artist Evy Jokhova for Lisbon Art Weekend – 1st edition!

The works within the exhibition explore the concept of ‘the grid’ as both a formal and an ideological device. The artist dancer Patricia Keleher will interprets the underpinning concepts of the exhibition through a choreographic sequence creating a dialogue with the artworks and audience. The objective is to provide the audience with a deeper understanding of the artist’s work and engage in conversation investigating the topics of formalism, the body, space and women’s role in domestic architecture.
