I jump at the fence, almost by instinct. That place pulsed, even in the absence and abandonment. I am seduced by the urban emptiness, the transformation of the potential of a place into an act, the space now vague and forgotten. To have ruin as my place – where the memory has not yet been murdered. Bruno José Silva takes the preexisting void and through his camera documents it and adds another meaning to it. He goes to the place and (re) discovers – looks for and carries the wreckage of a forgotten place, reenquadrates them in a new territory. A possible new place. The object and the shadow create a body, a new sculpture. The process continues.
